Celebrate Old English traditions and experience the sights, sounds and smells of a 16th century tall ship by boarding a replica at this festival. Younger kids can participate in an interactive fairy tale in the Kid's Kingdom or ride on the Butterfly Carousel and Swan Swing. Ages 4 and up can participate in the Knighting Ceremony, while ages 8 and up can joust in the Fight the Knight competition and climb Jacob's Ladder. Older kids can try the Pirate's Assault catapult that combines bungee jumping with trampolines. More than 100 shops sell handmade goods, from jewelry to pottery.
More than 1,200 performers, artisans and merchants take visitors on a trip through Elizabethan England with 16th Century games, rides, arts, crafts, food, music, and special entertainment. Kids Kingdom is an enclosed play area filled with oversized sand boxes, a climb-aboard pirate ship, interactive games, crafts and other child-friendly diversions.
