Cost: Free; $5 to adopt a duck

Hours: 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Aug. 8, 2013

Spectators cheer on more than 40,000 yellow rubber ducks during the annual Windy City Rubber Ducky Derby to benefit Special Olympics Illinois. Family entertainment includes face painting, games, free food and appearances by several sports mascots. Donated prizes will be provided to the adoptive parents of the winning ducks.
