WWII military equipment including tanks, jeeps and half-tracks provide a backdrop for Allied and Axis reenactor encampments, skirmishes and battlefield maneuvers. WWII veterans will share their memories of the war and on the home front. Food concessions, Victory Gardens, USO entertainment. President Franklin D. Roosevelt and Eleanor Roosevelt will appear. Patriotic ceremony on Sunday prior to the final battle at 3 p.m. honoring all veterans.

When: May 5, 2012 - May 6, 2012

Times: 10 a.m.-5 p.m. May 5, 10 a.m.-4 p.m. May 6

Where: Buckley Homestead Living History Farm, Lowell  Ind.

Our family is sooo proud of our nephew, Matt Coppens, who participates in this event & gives it his "ALL"!! I've seen him in action also at the re-enactment held in Rockford, IL
