Over 25,000 acres at 60 locations offer activities including hiking, bird-watching, cycling on over 80 miles of multipurpose trails, and fishing at 29 lakes. There are picnic areas as well as special areas for model crafts, orienteering, boating, family and youth-group camping and more. Five education centers host special events and offer resources and programs for educators and families. Amenities and facilities vary by location, see Web site or call for details. Rainbow trout, walleye, northern pike, perch, bluegill, crappie, carp and largemouth bass are in the lakes, rivers and streams. Free fishing guide available for maps of DuPage County fishing.
