By Maria R on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 A smile actually pops up on all of our faces when we visit Dr. Minster (which is saying a lot since we're at the doctor)! Dr. Minster is exceptionally personable, thorough and smart! He draws out seemingly unattainable conversation from my three boys when we visit! And he provides us with above standard medical care. I know if any of the boys ever happen to fall seriously ill, Dr. Minster will be there to bring out their smile and bring out the care we need. |

By Deborah T on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 Dr. Minster has a very special way with both kids and parents. He is very realistic and reliable. I put 100% trust in both him and his diagnoses. He has never given us any bad advice and makes time to see us. We feel very special and welcomed. |

By Gretchen W on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 Dr. Minster is both professional and fun (he even has earrings!). Our whole family (our 2 boys, my husband and I) feel so good every time we go see him. We really look forward to it! We still drive a half hour to see him, even after over 5 years! He really knows us and cares! |
|
By Jennifer D on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 He knows how to make the kids feel good even at their worst! Always walks in and makes them laugh or smile! Even if he is having a bad day....the kids never know about it! He is the best pediatrician! |

By Linda O on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 Dr. Riley Minster and Dr. David Saltzman as well as the entire practice of Lake Shore Pediatrics (they are a team)! deserve the award for their longsuffering and faithfulness to our son who is now 16 and was diagnosed with a primary immune deficiency at the age of 15 months. For children with lifetime threatening diseases that require constant maintenance, the loyalty by a physicians group means everything. Each time we change insurance, they have to go up against contracts to assist us against medical ignorance. At times there are medicine shortages and they step up on our behalf. They listen, they are compassionate, and they are up on the medicine. They rejoice in our victories and support the scares. No, they can't cure our son, but they can care, and they do. |

By Natalie B on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 My kids are normally terrified of going to the doctor, but when we are going to see Dr. Minster, he makes them feel super comfortable and at ease. On one of my last appointment, I had all 3 kids with me and my oldest was having a problem getting shots. Dr. Minster took both of my boys out in the hallway himself, so I could be with my daughter. I've never had a doctor be so hands on!!! We will never find another doctor like him!! |
|

By Mara T on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 Dr. Minster treats our 4 yr olds like the big people they are. He answers their questions (and mine) directly and with humor. They get so excited for their doctors' visit with him - even when shots are involved. Need I say more? |
|
By Cindy H on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 He is wonderful with my sons! He talks and interacts with them. He makes them feel comfortable and they know that when they see him, everything will be okay. He is very honest with them as well. He is wonderful with the parents as well. Never have I felt stupid for asking a question! He is hip and up on technology and medicine! We just love him!! |
|
By Lisa B on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 Dr. Minster ROCKS! Not only is he kind, professional, knowledable, and patient, but also takes time to speak with me and answer questions my boys have. Yes, even questions about medical school cadavers! My boys love going to see him. Dr. Minster has a wonderful sense of humor and makes every doctor's visit comfortable. The practice is extremely well run from the office staff, to phenomenal nurses (love the big "easy" button for shots), to each doctor. All the doctors are so thorough and we would refer each of them. We have a soft spot for Dr. Minister. He is wonderful! |

By Karen C on Tuesday, May 31, 2011 He is a doctor that gives you a warm response the moment he enters the room. His interest in the child and even the Grandmother, in my case, is one of listening and caring about the child as a whole. He gives the impression that he knows you and is familiar with the child's records and gives you the time to inform him of the problem. His response is usually of a practical, common sense approch that gives you and the child confidence in his diagnosis. |

From the very first day we met Dr. Minster in the hospital after my daughter was born he was caring and empathetic. My daughter was born with a kidney issue that needed some extra monitoring. She is doing great today because of the support and care from Dr. Minster.
