Dr. Nava Segall has been nothing less then extraordinary. I was a young mother when I had my son 9 years ago. When he was a one, he became very sick. He was having trouble breathing, crying, fussy, and not eating very well. I ran to Dr. Segall’s office with fear in my soul and tears in my eyes begging her to help us. She had us placed in a room right away and examined my son. She took one look at him and said “mom, calm down. It's going to be okay. Take a deep breath. Everything is fine.” She explained to me that my son had a viral infection and was showing signs of asthma. She gave me a lot of information on asthmatic children, signs and symptoms, and how to cope. She explained every step on how to give the medicine to my son. I must have been in the room with Dr. Segall for a whole hour. She was so patient and reassuring. I have never felt rushed out of a visit or felt as if I were a bother. You do not get that much these days. My son has now grown out of his asthma, but Dr. Segall still makes sure that she calls us every year around flu season to make sure he get the flu shot. Thank you so much, Dr. Nava Segall for all your help, compassion, patience, and most of all your very true heart felt love for children.
