It wouldn't be Memorial Day weekend without some big movie openings. We've got tickets to Epic, an animated adventure about a teenager who finds herself transported into a forest - and on a quest to save the world. One reader will win a family five-pack to the Classic Cinemas of their choice.
Tyler James Williams, Coco Jones and Trevor Jackson stopped by Chicago for the local premier of the new Disney Movie, "Let It Shine." ChicagoParent.com's intrepid reporters, Dixon and Delaney, took the opportunity to ask them a few questions that were on their minds... like, Is Coco now a cast member of "So Random"?
Dr. Donausky and the other doctors at Hedges are the best I've met. My 6-year-old daughter, Dakota, is absolutely terrified of needles and most any doctor that comes anywhere near her. We recently spent four days in two different hospitals because of a meningitis scare and by the time she was discharged anyone in scrubs would bring her to hysterical tears and screaming, "Mommy, what are they going to do to me?" It killed me to see her like that. I dreaded the follow-up visit after discharge. It was so great to pull up to the building and hear her say, "You took me to Dr. Donausky? Ok!" We sat through her visit without a problem and she did great! Dr. Donausky has never once treated a question like it was stupid, usually answering most of them before I even think to ask! She treats each of my two children like they're hers. They're not just rushed in and out like other doctors who we've seen with our government insurance have done. We've never waited more than twenty minutes in the waiting area (usually we're called before we get to sit!) and everyone in the office is smiling and friendly. We've moved since we started seeing Dr. Donausky and had our second child and we'd rather drive any distance than find another doctor!
