Dr. Tomita is an extremely gifted neurosurgeon who saved my son's life. He is also able to interact with children and babies in a way that lets them knows he really cares about them. When my son was about 6 months old and already had lived longer than many thought he would he carried him around the brain tumor center at Children's to show the other staff how well he was doing. I also have to give a special mention to his nurse Wendy Stellpflug, the brain tumor coordinator at Children's, a fantastic nurse and a wonderful person who we relied on for much in the early days of our son's illness and she always delivered. I don't know what we would do without Dr. Tomita and Wendy, we love them!
