Dr. Stew made the absolutely worst diagnosis a 12 year old could get bearable. He promised our daughter he'd always be honest with her and treat her with dignity and respect. He made her laugh, made her feel important (she had his cell number), he listened to her concerns about her treatment, he loved her. As her life came to a close he saw her daily (including weekends when he didn't have to) and he continues to call us almost 6 months after her death. Dr. Stew is one in a million and he should be honored for his patient care as well as his dedication to research. It is not possible for me to put into words what this man meant to our daughter and continues to mean to us.

Dr. Goldman is a ray of sunshine for all the children that come to the brain tumor clinic at Children's Memorial Hospital. He has such a positive and upbeat attitude towards everyone no matter what the situation. He sings walking down the halls and cracks jokes with the kids and parents. Even when things aren't very good, he always manages to make you feel like you are loved and that he will do anything in his power to make it better. He treats my son Bret like his own son and we love him dearly.
