Dr. Ettner wouldn't be for everyone, but without him my son and I wouldn't have survived our first year together. My son had severe colic, wasn't gaining weight, never slept and had chronic trouble with breastfeeding. I was gripped by the nightmare of severe post-partum depression. Dr. Ettner was there with excellent knowledge and non-judgmental advice. He worked with my doctors to help figure out appropriate treatment for me that could allow me to continue breastfeeding. Yes, his waiting room is tiny, and he sometimes was running quite late. But knowing that he was on my side and available (literally, he gives his cell # to his patients) got my son and I through some very dark times.
