Dr. Donnell has always treated my son and I as if we are the only patients he has scheduled for the day. Despite this, we are always taken on time. He takes his time to explain everything and answers all my questions without making me feel rushed. He is very personable, funny and intelligent!

Dr. Donnell obviously tries his hardest to find out what's going on with his patients. My son looks forward to his appointments because he knows that "Dr. Donnell will make him feel better." Seeing my son have relief after following his recommendations just makes me a happy mommy!

Dr. Aaron Donnell is such an amazing specialist (and person) that I am willing to drive from Schaumburg to Clark St. every time my son needs treatment for his asthma or his food allergies. The attention he receives from Dr. Donnell more than compensates for the hours spent crawling along I-90. Both of my son's conditions have improved dramatically under Dr. Donnell's care, and he has become a much more relaxed patient because of the positive experiences he has had at Chicago Family Asthma & Allergy. Dr. Donnell has a rare gift: he converses easily with kids, without ever talking down to them, and he is very understanding of my child's concerns. Once, he did an allergy scratch test on his own arm, just to show my son it didn't hurt. There aren't many doctors who would do that!

He cares for my son like his own. He never makes me feel like I am wasting his time or being paranoid. The whole office had a warm and positive enegry. There is a personal touch.

Dr. Donnell takes time to listen and answer all questions. He is warm and really good with young children and parents alike! I highly recommend him and his partner, Dr. Newhall.

Both Dr. Donnell and his partner, Dr. Kelly Newhall, have made our visits very productive and pleasant. They listen to what we are saying and never rush us--ever. They are great with our kids and strive to provide the best, most caring atmosphere possible. They actively seek feedback from patients, as well, which is more than I can say for most providers! I believe they truly consider themselves partners in caring for their patients, rather than stand alone decision makers. They always take our thoughts and feelings about how to go about treatment for our kids into consideration when deciding on a plan.
