The Wheaton College Athletics Department will host five summer
camps for elementary and high school students in the following
sports: basketball, tennis, soccer, wrestling, and volleyball

Basketball: The Wheaton College Basketball
Camp, now in its 48th year, offers day camps for students in grades
1-9. Day camp for boys and girls in grades 1-4 takes place from 9
to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. June 9-13, and from 9 to 11 a.m. and 1
to 3 p.m. June 16-20. Day camp for boys and girls in grades 5-9
takes place June 9-12, June 17-19 and August 4-8 from 9 a.m. to 3
Tennis: The Wheaton College Tennis Camp, now in
its sixth year, is a co-ed camp for athletes with varying levels of
experience. Beginner-Intermediate Tennis Camp is for grades 3-8 and
will be held from 9 to 10:30 a.m. on June 9-13, June 16-20, June
23-27, July 7-11, July 14-18 and July 21-25. High School Tennis
Camp is for grades 7-12 and will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30
p.m. on June 9-13, June 16-20, June 23-27, July 7-11, July 14-18
and July 21-25.
Soccer: The Wheaton College Youth Soccer Camp
is a five-day co-ed camp for students in grades 3-8. The goal is to
provide young players with tools and techniques in a fun and
stimulating environment. Camp is scheduled for June 9-13 and July
23-27. The Wheaton College Elite Soccer Academy, a two-day,
overnight elite camp for boys in grades 9-12, will be held June
26-28. The Wheaton College Elite Soccer Academy is presented by the
Wheaton College men's soccer coaching staff.
Wrestling: The Wheaton College Wrestling Camp
is run by former U.S. Olympian Jim Gruenwald, Wheaton's head
wrestling coach. Wrestling camps are geared towards grades 1-6 and
grades 7-12. Sessions for both age groups will occur simultaneously
from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m on June 17-20, July 14-18 and July
Volleyball: The Wheaton Volleyball Camp is a
new camp for 2014. The day camp for girls in grades 2-4 will be
held July 28-31 from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. The day camp for girls in
grades 5-8 will be held July 28-31 from 1 to 4 p.m.
