Gus Giordano Dance School's summer dance camps provide a warm
and nurturing environment with encouraging instruction to dancers
of all levels. Eligible campers are between the ages of 5-14 and
can be girls or boys. Under the direction of Amy Giordano, daughter
of the founder Gus Giordano, the School has instilled this warm
nature and environment for children for 60 years.
Gus Giordano Dance School's dance camps are filled with fun and
high-energy dance classes for the beginner, intermediate, or
advanced dancer. GGDS's camp students will have the opportunity to
explore a variety of dance styles including: ballet, jazz, hip hop,
musical theater, and modern in a weeklong program. Dance campers
will learn from highly educated dance instructors who have years of
experience inspiring children to grow and accomplish their goals in
dance. Gus Giordano Dance School has been leading the dance scene
in expert instruction for the city of Chicago.
At the end of the week GGDS welcomes campers' families to attend
a showing of what the children learned throughout the week. This is
a great opportunity to see what style of dance your child enjoys
most! Parents, grandparents, and siblings are always surprised at
the accomplishments that GGDS's campers achieve in a week's
Campers will bring their own sack lunch, and younger children
will enjoy outdoor activities at the park daily.
