St. James School exists to guide our children's developing relationship with God in accordance with the teachings of our Catholic faith and to provide a learning environment that fosters academic excellence. Since 1926, St. James has been delivering an exceptional academic experience growing rapidly over the years to now extend from PreK3 to 8th grade.

Our mission is to provide:

  • A foundation from which students recognize and develop their personal relationship with God.
  • An academic culture of meaningful and continuous learning, sensitive to the gifts of each child.
  • Tools to shape beliefs, attitudes, values and practices in accord with the Gospel message of social justice.

Our teachers and staff understand that a child's sense of self-esteem must be nurtured so each child feels worthwhile as an individual and confident as part of a group. Only then can a child be challenged to grow and perform to the maximum of his or her potential. The fact that 90% of SJS students take honors classes in high school is a testament to how students are challenged to excel, as well as the strong and continued curricular and financial investments in science, technology and extra-curricular programs. By teaching students to think critically, communicate effectively and care about others, SJS is preparing its students to excel in the greater community.

To experience first-hand how we are building futures with faith, please call to schedule a school tour or make an appointment to shadow a student for a day.
