Established in 1900 and sponsored by the Congregation of St. Joseph, we value the education of the whole person through the four pillars of our mission - Scholarship, Service, Spirit and Unity.
SCHOLARSHIP
We are committed to academic excellence by providing a
challenging, innovative curriculum and an appreciation of the arts.
We make our learning environment the place of great potential for
all. The Class of 2012 achieved 100% college acceptance and now
attend 78 colleges across 24 states. Graduates earned over $15
million in merit-based scholarships.
SERVICE
We make a positive difference in people's lives and develop a
sense of responsibility and leadership. We guide our faculty and
students toward an appreciation and sense of mission by ministering
to others. Every member of the student body, staff and faculty
participates in service projects throughout the community, amassing
of 10,000 hours of service to others.
SPIRIT
We value creative participation in the life of the school, thereby
encouraging all to develop their unique abilities. 93% of Nazareth
students participate in co-curricular activities including 23
sports and 25 clubs. Whether on the field, on stage or in civic
discourse, Nazareth students represent the school with pride.
UNITY
We realize the value of self and others. We integrate learning
with Christian values and faith and work to unite people with God
and one another. Through prayer, retreat, daily lessons and
tradition, Nazareth students live the Campus Ministry ideal,
"Respecting each other and all God's creation…that all may be
one."
