Cool off from the summer heat at an ice cream social on August 3 from 12 p.m.-6:30 p.m.
If you go
Sunday, August 3, 2014
7545 West Montrose Ave Norridge, IL
Time: 12 p.m.- 6:30 p.m.
The event, hosted by the Ridgewood High School Cheerleading squad from Norridge, Illinois features sweet treats provided by The Sweet Oasis ice cream shop, a dog parade for the puppy lovers out there, a dunk tank and even a visit from the local Norridge Fire Department.
Everyone is welcome to participate in the excitement.
If the firefighters and dogs aren’t enough fun for your little ones, from 4 p.m.-6 p.m., Denise Lazzara, a local body artist and founder of Face Painting by Denise, will transform them into their favorite superhero, animal or anything else their imaginations can conjure up.
The entire event will be barricaded from traffic so parents can have peace of mind about their children’s safety and focus on the fun!
Looking professional and athletic is key to representing the Norridge and Harwood Heights communities so the Ridgewood Rebels are turning to the community to help in their quest to raise money for new uniforms.
The squad will be performing throughout the event, flipping and chanting the day away.
