We all know there are things about being a mom that never change. The love and the worry. The fatigue and the wonder. They're the same powerful connections your mom and her mom experienced. But these days, we also know there are ways being a mom is all new.

At Chicago Parent, we understand. So we've changed to more fully mesh with your fabulous, crazed life. That means more mobile, more social, more digital content and more sharing. And it means a magazine experience-in print and on your tablet-that is simpler, brimming with ideas and events and filled with the voices of Chicago parents.

You've probably already noticed our new look - glossy paper and smaller size. Plus Chicago Parent, along with Going Places, is now available on your tablet. In the coming weeks, ChicagoParent.com will be enhanced for your mobile device to become your must go-to companion when you're out and about.

Let us know what you think of our changes, the good and the bad. Tell us if we're missing something you want to see every month. We are all ears because this is your magazine.

We can assure you, that despite all of these exciting changes, some things will never change: We know Chicago. We know moms. We tell good stories. We gather and present huge amounts of information to make being a mom better and simpler.

We hope you agree.
