When we pulled up to the big
white warehouse building that houses Xtreme Trampoline, my
12-year-old son and his friend were already jumping with
Xtreme Trampoline is like the
maximum overdrive version of your neighbor's backyard trampoline.
Up a short flight of steps is a wide platform with tables for
parents and three "jump courts" separated by age; one each for
preschoolers to 7-year-olds, 8- to 12-year-olds, and teens and
adults. Each court has several floor-level trampolines in a row
with angled upright trampoline pads on either side to bounce
There is another row of
trampolines facing a trench filled with foam squares for kids to
flip into and a trampoline dodgeball court with timed dodgeball
sessions. A referee watches over each court and all the employees
were attentive and friendly.
Although it was busy, my
husband and I were able to have a normal-voiced conversation. Being
the veteran of many birthdays at kids party places, I also
appreciated how clean everything was.
We especially enjoyed
watching the teen jump court. Several of the jumpers were talented
gymnasts and athletes, performing amazing flips and somersaults up
and down the court.
The only wait was a short
line for the dodgeball sessions, which the boys quickly decided was
their favorite activity.
I was impressed at seeing
kids of so many different ages having fun. Xtreme Trampoline is a
perfect place for an active birthday party, a scouting or youth
group event or a teen night out. It makes for a fun Friday night
whether you want to jump or just watch.
