What’s your family’s favorite fall activity?

Friday night football games … We love the games and the marching bands, dance teams, etc.

Angie Brocato

We pitch our tent in our backyard, light the fire and enjoy the evening. It’s a great place to camp as it comes with indoor plumbing and cooking facilities!

Rebecca Kirtland

Going apple picking in Michigan. Also, we started a tradition last year to go trick-or-treating on Halloween with all our friends.

Mitchelle Mun

We love to go to the pumpkin farm and pick out a big and little pumpkin to carve out. We also enjoy the pony rides they offer as well as the baby chicks you can hold.

Francine Eberhard

We enjoy going to the Morton Arboretum. They have excellent crafts and games for kids ... coloring leaves, carving pumpkins and making taffy apples. It’s also fun to see the leaves changing color.

Tami Hollendonner

Going to the pumpkin patch and apple picking. We go to a place in Hobart, Ind. And they have hay rides, pumpkins, apple picking, a petting zoo and a corn maze.

Jamie Connell

Apple picking. We go every year and the kids just have a blast! Not to mention there is nothing like apple tree pictures, Mom’s favorite part!

Lynn Prehm

We go to Bengston’s Pumpkin Farm. The kids run through the dizzying corn maze and we watch the goofy pig races. Our favorite part is going on the tractor ride through the pumpkin field to pick out our pumpkins.
