Whether you’re young or old—or even of canine persuasion—chances are there is an Easter celebration egg-specially for you.

Celebrate the end of winter at the second annual Spring Eggstravaganza, 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m. April 8 at Soldier Field Stadium, 425 E. McFetridge Dr., Chicago. After brunch in the Cadillac Club, kids 10 and under can take to the field for a candy grab and other bunny fun. This is the only time the public is allowed on the stadium field. The fun is broadcast on two super-size video boards so parents can cheer from the sidelines. Reservations required by April 7. $15, $8 kids 10 and under. Call (312) 235-7162.

If wet and wild is your kids’ thing, dive for plastic Easter eggs in a heated swimming pool at the annual Underwater Egg Hunt and Swim Party, 1-3 p.m. April 8 at the Collins Indoor Aquatic Center, 391 Illini Dr., Carol Stream. Eggs can be redeemed for prizes. Ages 3 and up. Registration required. $15, $7 residents. Call (630) 784-6100.

The icing on the Easter cake is Oak Lawn Park District’s Easter Bunny Skating Party, 1:30-2:50 p.m. April 9 at the Oak Lawn Ice Arena, 9320 S. Kenton Ave., Oak Lawn. The afternoon includes open skate, a picture with the Easter Bunny and other activities. $6, $7 kids, $2.50 skate rental. Call (708) 857-5173.

And at the Chicago Park District, egg hunting has gone to the dogs. Human families and their furry friends are invited to the third annual Doggie Egg Hunt, 10 a.m. April 15 at Horner Park, 2741 W. Montrose Ave., Chicago. The event includes a hunt for treat-filled eggs, a bonnet parade, refreshments and pet information booths. $5 per dog. Call (773) 478-3499.
