Price: Normally $75 adults,
$20 children 12 and under. Price for Mother's Day $135 adults, $42
children 12 and under.
Mother will love it: Quality
and array of foods were incredible. Everything from sashimi to
Peking duck to roasted pork to truffled eggs Benedict was served.
The dessert table even included a "candy bar," where you could grab
chocolate-covered caramels, truffles and handmade
marshmallows.
Atmosphere: Live music
floated through the airy lobby, where brunch was held. It was a
sunny, luxurious place to be.
Kid-friendly assessment: The
kids' buffet table was adorable - and at kid's height - and offered
everything a child could ever want to eat. Kids can also head to
the Children's Lounge, which features games and activities,
including a magician.
We were disappointed: We had
to ask for our coffee to be refilled, our old plates to be taken
away and our cutlery to be changed. We also had to flag down the
host to get our waiter's attention.
Value: Alcohol is not
included, but the quality of the raw oysters, sashimi and fresh-cut
meats was very high.
Mother's Day highlights:
Look forward to a buffet that's about seven times as large as
the typical Sunday brunch, including a massive Asian station
catered by Shanghai Terrace.
