with a separate a la carte kids menu. Price for Mother's Day $130
adults, $55 kids. Three seatings: 10:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 4
p.m.
Mother will love it: The
Seasons Restaurant has transformed into Allium, under the direction
of Chef Kevin Hickey. The fare is a twist on American
cuisine rooted in regional, farm-to-table fare.
Atmosphere: A large, airy
room overlooking the Gold Coast shops, massive chandeliers and live
music make this the perfect place for a celebration.
Kid-friendly assessment:
Kids are offered a coloring book and crayons. A kids' buffet
is available, which includes PB&J sandwiches, chicken fingers,
tater tots and a few special dessert treats.
Value: The carving and
entrée station that features leg of spring lamb, prime rib, Maine
lobster with blue crab, and shrimp shepherd's pie
Mother's Day highlights: A
massive assortment of desserts, such as pistachio
nougat cake, warm banana crisp, mini lava cakes and chocolate
