The Bridge of Hope for Russian Children program is looking for families to host a child, age 7-12, for the summer. All children are eligible for adoption.
Kids spend about three weeks with a U.S. host family learning the basics of family life. During the day, they attend a local day camp near their host family’s home and on weekends the program sponsors cookouts, pool parties and other events for all the children and their host families.
An informational meeting about the summer program will be facilitated by St. Mary’s Services, the local sponsor for Bridge of Hope, from noon-3 p.m. March 7. The meeting will be held at St. Simon’s Parish Hall, 717 W. Kirchoff Road, Arlington Heights. Call 888-ST-MARYS or e-mail [email protected] to register or for more information.
