Short stuff: Recall roundup
The Consumer Product and Safety Commission has recalled the following products:

Evenflo Activity Centers. The cap on one end of the table can loosen and fall off, posing a fall hazard. The recall targets Evenflo ExerSaucer Triple Fun stationary activity centers made between October 2006 and December 2008. Contact Evenflo to receive a free replacement end cap. www.exersaucertriplefun.com.

Safety 1st SmartLight Stair Gates. The hinges that hold the stair gate in place can break, posing a fall hazard if the gate is placed at the top of the stairs. Contact www.djgusa.com/safety_notice to obtain a free repair kit.

Arch Swing Sets. Sold by Playland International dealers from September 2001 through May 2006 for $800-$2,300. The metal around the weld at the top of the swing frame can fail, causing the top bar to fall. Contact Playland for repair kit. [email protected].

Rainforest Portable Play Yards by Simplicity. One or more rails can collapse unexpectedly. Contact Fisher-Price at (800) 432-5437 or visit www.service.mattel.com.

Playhouse Disney "Handy Manny" Toy Tool Sets. Sold at Disney stores, the tools contain eyes that can separate, posing a choking hazard. Return toy to Disney store for refund.

Infantino Lion and Lamb Grabby Rattles. The tail piece of the rattles can detach, posing a choking hazard. Contact Infantino for replacement. (888) 808-3111.
