If you’re heading out into the crowds with your kids this summer, there’s a new way to help them find their way back to you if they get lost. SafetyTat is a temporary tattoo, usually of a parent’s cell phone number, that can be adhered to a child’s arm.

Invented by Michele Welsh, a mom of three, the tattoos are custom-made and can also be used to identify children with special needs or those with severe food allergies. The tattoos are waterproof, last about two or three days and are removable with baby oil or rubbing alcohol.
