Make ice cream

Supplies


1 1-pound coffee can with lid
1 3-pound coffee can with lid
Ice
Salt
1 pint whipping cream
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup crushed strawberries

Put all ingredients in small coffee can and mix. Place inside the large can packed with salt and ice.

Roll the cans on the floor until ice cream is firm.

You may need to add more salt and ice after 15 minutes and continue rolling. Mittens are helpful because the can gets very cold.
