Imagine a 2 year old putting on roller skates that are far too big for him and skating around the basement hitting his hockey puck with his hockey stick. And don't you dare call him by his name because he will say, "No, my name is Goalie!" He really gets into character!

In order to get my son to eat his food, we often pretend it's something else. This morning, two blueberries on the end of his fork were eye balls. I kept putting them on and holding the fork up pretending it was trying to watch TV. I said, "Oh no! Don't eat my eyes, I can't see!". He kept eating them and laughing.

My daughter's name is Chandler and she is 3.5 years old. Her favorite make believe game is to pretend that her security blanket, Stinky Bear, is wrestling with her. So, Stinky will first bite her in the neck which means he's ready to start the match! Chandler will then start throwing herself around the room with her bear seemingly throwing her about. There is a lot of growling taking place during the match. Eventually he throws her on the couch where they both rest afterwards and he says he's sorry to her for playing, "too rough." She will then put him down for a nap as he's tired from the match.

My son is very creative and loves to build forts with all our pillows and blankets. He then takes one special blanket and goes for a magic carpet ride. He travels to castles and helps people in need.
