Favorite Christmas TraditionBy susan kaup on Friday, November 11, 2011 My whole family gets together on christmas eve and listen to christmas carols while we all sing along and watch christmas movies on tv. The kids all dance and sing for everyone and we have a big santa that sings and dances and we all love to sing along with him and just have a great time. It is like being a kid again. We have great grandparent, grandparents, aunts uncles, cousins and the grandkids. It is just such a great night. |

As a family we all participate in the decor, sip on hot cocoa and listen to Christmas carols. We love heading out to the country on a cold, snowy day and walking around the field trying to find the perfect tree to bring home. Once home, we put on the Christmas carols and sing along as we enjoy special appetizers. We all help unwrap the ornaments and tell the stories that make each one special as we hang them on our tree. Then we all sit in the dark and look at the sparkly lights on our tree reflecting on the ornaments and enjoy some quiet Christmas peace! |

A few years ago this warm little guy showed up at our doorstep and returns every year to the delight of our children. It isn't a formal tradition, but having my grandkids come over to help with the Christmas decorations is wonderful. There are certain decorations that get them so excited, which puts everyone in the Christmas spirit.
