This contest is now closed.
Your kid has been honing daredevil skills, much to your chagrin. But encouraging their sense of adventure isn't always bad, so long as they're wearing the proper safety equipment. Let your kid drift around corners and propel themselves by sliding from side to side with the Pulse Slither Drift Scooter ($69.99). One lucky Chicago Parent reader will win a Pulse Slither Drift Scooter this week. For more information, visit pulsescooters.com.
To win, tell us your family's stay-at-home winter break plans.
Winners will be chosen from ChicagoParent.com's members. To become a ChicagoParent.com member, click on "My Account" and enter your name, e-mail address and zip code. In submitting your comments, you are granting Chicago Parent permission to run them now or in the future. There may be only one winner per household every 30 days. Winners must live within the Chicago Parent readership area. We will not release your e-mail information--it is purely for contact purposes. Wednesday Journal Inc. reserves the right to change contest rules at any time. Winners will be chosen at random on Tuesday and may have no affiliation with Wednesday Journal Inc. or its employees.

Winter BreakBy Laura Cassani on Friday, November 11, 2011 We are going to "catch-up" with each other on winter break! With 3 boys in 3 different schools (one in each: high school, middle school, and grade school) and so many activities going on, and homework... it's hard to spend time together as a family! My hope is to take it easy, just doing nothing but spending quality time together! Maybe watch some movies, go sledding, play board games! Things we just don't have time to do during the school year! |
Thank You cardsBy Joann Torres on Friday, November 11, 2011 After the holidays are over and all the presents are unwrapped, the work is still not done. I will provide them with thick card stock paper and allow their imagination to go wild in making their very own holiday thank you cards. I'll let them address and send the cards off themselves. |
