Three Slip ‘N Slides by Wham-O: Obstacle Course, Batman vs. The Joker and Splash Down (Prices range from $15.99–$24.99)
Which Slip ‘N Slide is best? That is the question. We put three varieties to the test.
We tried the Obstacle Course, Batman vs. The Joker and Splash Down, all made by Wham-O.
All three were very easy to set up. Obstacle Course has three extra pieces to blow up. There is a hurdle, connected tires and a flag. Splash Down has a football theme and has two small football players and one football to inflate. Batman is all in one piece and has two slides connected in the middle.
The Obstacle Course is challenging. You have to jump through the hurdle and go through the tires before you hit the slide. The actual slide feels a little skinny for a bigger kid but it’s long enough to get good slide action going.
Batman vs. The Joker is really fun. It is very fast and has lots of room. It is great to have two people go at the same time and race. The actual slide has Batman on one side and The Joker on the other side. It looks really cool.
Splash Down was a little babyish for us. The slide is skinny and the inflatable players are cutesy. It would be a good slide for younger kids, especially if they love football. You can make it more difficult by holding the football while you slide and trying to get it through the inflatable goal posts at the end.
Of course, any Slip ‘N Slide can be fun, but we think Batman vs. The Joker is the best. We are twins and always think things made for two are the most fun. Aaron and Stefan Carlson, 10, Lombard
