Get paid to tell others about the magazineBronwyn Clark, Chicago Parent promotions coordinator, works at a magazine-sponsored event.
Chicago Parent needs you. Do you like the magazine? Do you find yourself talking about the stories in it each month?
Then we need you to be an ambassador for Chicago Parent.
We know Chicago Parent readers are the ones who represent the magazine best. They talk about it, argue with us and help to make it a better publication. In the past, we’ve asked many of our readers to become Chicago Parent Ambassadors and we got wonderful people to help spread the word at various events around the six-county area.
Now we are asking again.
This is not a volunteer job, we will train you and pay you. Nor is it a lot of time. The main requirements are that you love the magazine, feel comfortable talking with others and are willing to give up a few hours every month.
Ambassadors work an average of eight to 12 hours a month. You choose two or three four-hour weekend events to work each month-based on your availability and the event’s location. You can bring your children if you want-we think children are great ambassadors. We ask you to represent us, answer basic questions and hand out copies of the magazine and a goody bag prepared especially for that event.
We will pay you $8 an hour and reimburse your parking fees.
If you think this is something you would like to do, please call Bronwyn Clark, our promotions manager at (708) 613-3307. Susy Schultz
