Fourth of July celebrations and fireworks in Chicago and the suburbs

Parades, fireworks, barbecue...there is nothing like celebrating American independence with timeless tradition. Find out when and where to catch your local Fourth festivities and if you can't make it to a fireworks show on the Fourth of July, you can catch them at Navy Pier every Wednesday and Saturday night during the summer months.

If your family attends these or any other Fourth of July events around the city, feel free to share photos with us on our Facebook page! We'll put them in our special gallery for the holiday. Make sure to also use our hashtag #cpsummer when you post about your summer fun.
