First, please note that this is not spam! We are real parents who are dedicated to highlighting the positives of raising a family in the city. We don't take ourselves SO seriously, though. We have a lot of fun with the topic and provide plenty of fluff along with the crunch.

For October we will be highlighting your fair city of Chicago. Why do you love raising your family in the city? What are the hidden gems, your off-the-beaten path favs? Share with us and other ParentZing! readers who already live in Chicago, are considering a move to the city, or maybe even just a visit. We're happy to post a photo of you and your kid(s) -- or even just your dog if you prefer (YES, we had someone request that!). If you have a blog or website we're happy to provide a live link to that, as well. But don't ask: There's no exchange of $ involved; that's not what we're all about.

We had an overwhelming response to our last request for NYC and so here's how we're going to proceed:
1. Send an e-mail to info.parentzing@gmail.com; put I HEART CHICAGO in the subject line.
2. There's no need to send your whole post now. Simply give us some of your ideas and show us in a paragraph your sassy (and clear) writing style. Let us know about how long you've lived in the city and how many kids you have. We don't care if you are a newbie or a fixture, as long as you can share the "real" Chicago with our readers.
3. We will accept e-mails only through Sept 30. Why such a short time frame? Because you already know and love your city - it's easy to jot off some ideas immediately. And we can only read so many emails - we've got to limit them or we will go insane!
4. We will let the selected Chicago rep know by Oct 5th. All others, don't despair: Check out our "submit" section and inquire about other opportunities to submit a guest entry.
