My family's plan for the first weekend of fall is to visit the County Line Orchard Pumpkin Patch in Hobart,Indiana. We CAN'T WAIT to go apple picking, pumpkin picking and going for a hay ride. They also have a corn maze that we love to walk through and get lost in. It is a fun and exhausting day for all of us, but we love going.

Fall is my favorite time of the year!  I actually just got back from a long walk, with my youngest in the stroller, around a nearby park.  I am hoping to take the kids to Starved Rock this weekend, and possibly camping before the weather turns too cold.  I feel more ambitious this time of year with the beautiful colors all around and the temperature seems to be just right.

Our plans for the first weekend of fall are to take the little ones, ages 4 and 2, outside to play.  The weather is gorgeous.  Our family loves fall; going apple picking and pumpkin picking, the Halloween holiday and then Thanksgiving, and especially the beautiful weather and the leaves changing color.

My family’s plans for the first weekend of fall are to start pulling out all the Halloween decorations. Also start putting all our summer clothing away. Saturday we went to an indoor inflatable play center called FunFlatables in Dyer, IN for a birthday party. It was so fun! Fall is a great season filled with tons of fun activities!

Believe it or not, we went swimming in Lake Michigan! The waves on the Indiana coast were giant and my daughter said, "They flattened me like a pancake." The water was cold, but it was a nice farewell weekend to summer.
