Speaking only as a mom, not as the editor, I liked Premier Child Care in Schererville. My three children attended it, two since they were six weeks old. I visited several day cares and found only this one meeting my standards. I have a friend who has taken her newborn there and is happy and will take her second one, due in March, there. I like the security system and closed circuit TVs, I like the materials taught to the kids -- sign language, spanish, manners, etc. They left very ready, if not overly prepared, for kindergarten.
Lots of moms from Lansing and that area also used it so the drive isn't horrible from those areas.
Good luck. It's hard to leave your little one but I can honestly say I never worried when I left my kids from very early morning until closing.
