Allowances vary. There is no golden rule to how much a 4th grader should receive. Some 4th graders may get nothing for allowance and some may get greater than $25 a week. It probably depends on how much you work around the house, behave, and the grades you get in school. Ask your parents to see what they want you to do to increase your current allowance.
