Our 10-month-old is such an omnivore, he'd eat almost anything on his banana split--strawberries, whipped cream, eggs, Cheerios, kiwi fruit, peas and carrots, bits of sausage...anything!  He just mushes everything around in his tray, anyway, and then crams it in his mouth.  I guess it's well-balanced, but a little gross.

My oldest would throw everything on the banana split including chocolate, nuts, cherries, whipped cream and sprinkles.  My younger son would be happy with hot fudge and whipped cream.
