Tired of the toy recalls? Lead, Roofies, burnt fingers? Then in just over 10 hours head over to the Pulaski Park auditorium where the doors will open for the 5th year in a row for the DIY Trunk show. Holiday shopping has begun!
Sure I'm a bit biased when it comes to this show. But just because my BFF runs it doesn't mean that it isn't chock full of good stuff! No, you can't get an American Girl doll, but you can get your sister some nice stationary. You remember what that is right? Your favorite little cousin just got her first apartment, but what can you get her? What about some funky dishes? Just need a quirky card to send to your college roommate? The woman in the next cubicle is ready to pop her baby out? Why not get the lil one a hat and bootie set? While you're there, drop the hint to your loved one that you'd love a pair of earrings for the holidays (or birthday if you're like me & have a December birthday!). If you have a favorite lil girl, why not get her a cute pillow to cuddle with instead of yet another teddy bear? Ok, again, I admit I love the maker of the pillows, she's cool and my daughter loves the kitty pillow.
So hurry up and get out of the house! It's only going on SATURDAY! Yes, only on Saturday, November 17, 2007!
