- Begin by painting the paper towel roll the color of your choice and let dry completely.
- Take several sheets of red, orange and yellow tissue paper and layer them together
- Stuff the tissue paper into one end of the tube to create the "flames." Use the scissors to snip the edges of the tissue paper to make the "flames" appear more real (an adult can do the cutting for younger children).
