Materials

• Plastic cover from a large container (such as a sour cream or hummus container)
• Gold, silver and bronze paint
• Paint brush
• Glitter
• Hole punch
• Thick ribbon (about 3 feet)

Directions

Paint round plastic lids with gold, silver or bronze paint. Add glitter or other decorations if you wish.

Once the paint is completely dry, use a hole punch to make a hole on each side of the lid.

Reuse a ribbon from around the house to complete your medal. Thread the ribbon through the holes, securing with knots on the backside and the medal is ready to be awarded to the best competitor.
