By
Caitlin Murray Giles

This project is a perfect opportunity to point out the different shapes and textures of various leaves to your little naturalists.
Materials
- White paper
- crayons
- paper clips
- leaves
Directions
- Place an assortment of leaves vein side up on a piece of plain,
white paper. Cover with another piece of paper.
- Peel the wrapper off of a crayon and slowly rub the side of the
crayon back and forth over the leaves to reveal their shapes. (Use
paper clips to secure the edges if the paper slips around too
much.)
