Incorporate leaves into your family’s Thanksgiving celebration (or any other meal) by creating homemade placemats for your guests.
Materials
- Leaves
- wax paper
- iron
- kitchen towel
- construction paper
- scissors
- glue.
Directions
- Choose some beautiful, unblemished leaves and arrange them in a
pattern on a piece of wax paper that is about 8½ by 11 inches in
size.
- Cover with another piece of wax paper that is the same size and
iron the pieces together under a thin towel.
- Once you have a tight seal on the outer edges of the wax paper,
cut strips of construction paper or seasonal wrapping paper to
decorate the four edges of your placemats and secure with
glue.
- Proudly display your table "linens" for the big Thanksgiving
Day meal.
