Baby's first green toys
Win with Chicago Baby
Monday, April 26, 2010

This contest is closed.
Your baby will have plenty of firsts and they're all important, including their first toys. In a world where conservation and living eco-friendly is the responsible thing to do, giving your child toys made of recycled materials from Green Toys is just good parenting. One lucky Chicago Parent reader will win a prize pack from Green Toy's new baby and toddler line featuring a tugboat, stacker and a set of blocks.
To win, tell us your biggest concern for your baby's future.
Congratulations to our winner: Breda.

"A Simpler Start"By Jaime Doud on Monday, November 28, 2011 My son has gone through a lo tin his first 3 years. Nothing horrible, but a lot of challenges, from a difficult birth and first two weeks in NICU to DT, ST, & OT. My wish right now is that his little sister (due in September) has a less eventful start to life! |
My little girlBy Jennifer Gensch on Monday, November 28, 2011 I want my little girl and her big brother to be both happy and healthy, but what I want most is for them to be able to deal with whatever comes into their lives with emotional stability. I've had a rough life myself and so have their older brothers and sister and these two deserve everything so they can give back to the world as well. |
Baby's FutureBy Rubina on Monday, November 28, 2011 My biggest concern is her safety (mental, physical and emotional) The more companies get away from providing a good product and start looking how to do things for cheaper, we introduce more toxins into our systems. This applies to everything from food, toys, and medicines. It’s a scary world out there for a parent. We think we are providing the best for our child’s development, the next day there is a recall on the item. Our Kids are our future, if we can’t keep them safe, then what chance does our future have? |
Our present affects their futureBy Deanna P. on Monday, November 28, 2011 Every action we make has the ability to make a positive effect on our children's future. I fear that we are not taking our actions seriously and our children and our earth will pay for it. |
Baby's FutureBy Renee on Monday, November 28, 2011 I don't like all the additives and preservatives in all the foods. Furthermore, toys and baby bottles with lead and plastic contents. Each time I took a baby for their "shots"(immunizations), it seemed as if our government added another one! Are we 'preserving' are babies , too? |

concerns
By gail on Monday, November 28, 2011
My biggest concern is that our world won't be safe enough, clean enough, or healthly enough for my children and others to thrive in. Everything that happens today from wars to oil spills impacks our childrens lives, and future generations to come.
