Splash and Ski: A Winter Escape to Lake Geneva

Already planning to escape the winter doldrums this year? We love Lake Geneva in the summer (I grew up on Lake Geneva summers) but it's a great winter escape, too. This winter, Timber Ridge Lodge is offering a great family "Splash and Ski" package: it's a great way to make the best of the winter weather. Follow up time on the cold slopes with a swim at a warm, moose themed waterpark. As part of the package, you'll enjoy:
*Four passes to the 50,000 square-foot Moose Mountain Falls Waterpark
*Four lift tickets for one day of skiing or snowboarding at The Mountain Top, which offers 18 downhill ski slopes, snowboarding areas, and 10 kilometers of scenic trails designed for snow shoeing and cross-country skiing
*50% off ski rentals for children under age 11
*Overnight spacious accommodations in a one-bedroom suite

Valid December 12, 2010 through March 4, 2011, rates start at $199 per night (exclusive of resort fee and tax - during the Holiday Ski Period, December 25 through 30, 2010, rates start at $309 per night).

For reservations, visit http://www.timberridgeresort.com/ or call 866.636.4502.
Also, if you're visiting in December, don't miss the resort's grand "Christmas in the Country" holiday display, featuring one million twinkling lights, large-scale snow sculptures, caroling and more.
