This Thanksgiving, I am thankful for so many things, both big and small. Most of all, I am thankful for this little family I call mine: for Pupa's sweet little giggles and never-ending curiosity; for Fratellone's warmth and wonderful sense of humour; for my husband's support and love.

I am happy to share another great giveaway with my readers - as a way of saying Thanks! for following me here on my Chicagoparent.com blog: Jewel is currently running a great professional cookware for a penny offer: for every ten dollars spent at Jewel, you receive a sticker to be kept in a handy book to help you keep track of your total. Save up your stickers to earn an array of high quality, professional grade cookware. It's a great way to earn some new pots and pans while doing what you need to do anyways: stock your pantry for all that holiday cooking and baking! But hurry - because the program only runs until January 12th - so now is the time to get your shopping done and earn those stickers! I have two of Jewel's pans to give away to a lucky reader! The grill pan - great for making stovetop panini! - and a frying pan - non-stick and ready to make your omlettes.

To enter, simply leave a comment below answering the following question: "What's your favorite part of the Thanksgiving meal?" For me, it's the stuffing! I could eat stuffing and nothing else for my Thanksgiving meal!

I'm looking forward to reading your comments, and I'll pick a winner on Friday. For more information on the Jewel Professional Cookware for a Penny Program, visit this link. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Vegetarian gravy and everything that it goes on top of .... Tofurky, mashed potatoes, and I agree with you - stuffing!

Thanksgiving Meal

By Debbie on Tuesday, November 13, 2012

My favorite part of Thanksgiving meal is the celery filled with cream cheese. This has been a family tradition since I was a little kid. I too love the stuffing. But, it has to be the stuffing from inside the turkey. That is the best!!!

Mmmmmm...Toss up

By Meg Mass on Tuesday, November 13, 2012

For me it's a toss up between the stuffing (got to be my mom's) and pumpkin pie. I could indeed eat nothing but stuffing, and as a vegetarian teenager, I often did just that. We make my mom make a couple extra pans of stuffing, because it never lasts the night, and it's all we really want the next day. (Well, maybe some of the mashed potatoes too...). I also really like the part of us all being in the kitchen together, cooking, jostling, snacking, singing - the actual dinner is secondary, and the dinner guests miss most of the fun. (Don't tell them.)
