About this blog
Once college Theatre majors and roommates in Chicagoland, Todd Jay, Matt Rocco, and D.M. Engel are now a Chicago suburbanite, a Chicago resident, and a Chicago ex-pat, respectively.
Todd raises two elementary age children, Ellie and Alex - a girlie girl and a boy whose hobbies are "baseball and swearing." Matt fathers a toddler, "Baby Viva", a tiny diva with an passionate dislike of robots, and D.M. in Syracuse, New York is the proud poppa of twin babies Ceci and Josie - who have never been asleep at the same time.
Join these three friends as they give you a front row seat to their parental foibles and fumbles, from buying a house that looks like a skinning shack, to wrestling with their children over loose teeth, to feuding fiercely with neighbors over road cones, alongside a liberal dose of nostalgia for 80's pop culture from the Thundercats to "Mannequin".
If you enjoy what you hear, the Dads' extended Podcast has installments every Monday and Wednesday and an outtakes episode on Fridays.
