Talking to Strangers: How parents can make new friends

By White Dad Problems

Teaching your child to make new friends means making new friends yourself. And what adult wants to make new friends? None. Yuck. But now you're forced into close proximity with other parents - what to do? The White Dad Problems team takes a look.

You're stuck next to other parents all the time now - in the bleachers, in lobbies, in classes. Do you talk to them? About what? For how long? It's an endless struggle of awkwardness and boredom. And what if your kid wants a playdate with another kid (or a dog)? Do you ask for another parent's contact info? What if it's a woman? Stuff gets weird in a hurry for the Dads this week.

Once you've enjoyed this audio blog, please subscribe to the full length show on iTunes! It's free! You can even leave the guys a great review. You can also listen at whitedadproblems.com. (Do note that the show has a bad case of the naughties, so Adults Only.)

And follow the Dads on Facebook and on Twitter.
