As an update on this week's podcast, a relevant piece this morning from The Baltimore Sun: "Woman tells how foster son strangled on window blind cord"

Twelve children are killed each year by window coverings, including Angel Duenas, a 2-year-old Baltimore boy and the subject of the article.

In the first edition of this podcast, released Wednesday, Dr. Thornton highlighted the hidden dangers posed by blind cord, and recommended that they always be tethered and kept out of reach of curious kids.
