If you only use Groupon to get a half-price mani-pedi, you're missing out on some big travel savings via Groupoon Getaways. Today's deal: Half off on a stay for up to six people at KeyLime Cove in far north suburban Gurnee.

There are other waterpark deals in today's Groupon Getaways email, including stays at a Wyndham in Orlando. Frankly, though, I don't recommend a waterpark stay in the Land of Mickey Mouse. You're paying more for the cool water features and your kids will be torn between the water slide at the hotel and the log ride at Disney World. Save yourself the headache (and the cash) and stay a regular hotel in Orlando. If you want to spend a little more, book a room on property at one of the amusement parks to get early or late access to the parks.

Then, when you get home and you need a mini-getaway, head to a waterpark hotel for the weekend.
