This is a rare post from me that doesn't require you to travel any further than North Avenue and Halsted Street. It's a plug for a Mother's Day deal being offered by Motherhood: The Musical, one of the funniest shows I've seen in ages.
Head to the show on Mom's special day and you can snag a free donut from Dunkin' Donuts and a $10 gift certificate to Standard Market, a specialty food store in Westmont. If you're lucky (which I never am), you could win a $200 gift certificate to Standard Market. The producers will give away one at the 2 pm show and another at 5:30 show.
